OBTAINING A ROAD TRANSPORT LICENSE IN CAMEROON.

Logistics and Transports are very lucrative ventures for investors with huge capital.Registering the transport company is not enough,the investor must comply with the regulatory framework amongst which obtaining the appropriate license for the distinct category under which your operations fall. The road transport license can be ordinary or special.

Special road transport licenses include but not limited to:

Urban transport service by coach or bus;
Urban transport service by motorcycle taxi in peri-urban and rural areas;
Funeral transport service.

THE REQUIREMENT FOR OBTAINING A TRANSPORT LICENSE
The requirements for obtaining a transport license are:

• a certified true copy of the national identity card of the applicant or the manager of the company for legal persons, a certificate of nationality for persons of foreign nationality;
• a receipt attesting to the payment of the royalty corresponding to the category of the requested license.

  Note that additional documents will be needed while other categories require the Blue Card to be operational.
